RPS Espey <br />Attachment A <br />Problem Drainage Areas <br />From City of San Marcos staff <br />July, 2013 <br />1. McKie @ Willow Creek (700 blk) <br />a. Low water crossing <br />2. 600 Blk Moore <br />a. 614 Moore — creek discharges into storm sewer pipe. Homeowner complains <br />about clogging /flooding with almost all rain events <br />3. River Road & Uhland Rd. @ Blanco River (1800 blk Uhland) <br />a. Road has to be closed due to high water during significant rain events. (City <br />and County project due to City limits line) <br />4. 600 blk Allen <br />a. Homeowner at 611 Allen complains about flooding /silt/debris accumulation. <br />Road sometimes has to be closed due to high water when drain clogs <br />5. Sessom @ Sessom Creek crossing (100 blk E. Sessom) <br />a. During significant rain event water overtops the road <br />6. Jackman & Gravel @ Purgatory Creek (400blk Jackman) <br />a. Low water crossing. Road usually has to be closed when creek is up <br />7. 400 blk W. San Antonio <br />a. Homeowner at 411 W. San Antonio complains about grates clogging which <br />causes minor flooding <br />8. 800 blk W. San Antonio <br />a. Home owner at 835 W. San Antonio has ongoing issue with water cresting the <br />curb and running through yard causing erosion /flooding problem <br />9. Hopkins between Bishop and Moore (1200 thru 500biks including Heritage and <br />Dunbar neighborhoods) <br />a. Generalized roadway flooding during rain event. No infrastructure in this area. <br />Extends downhill from Hopkins to Purgatory Creek <br />b. Low point is Travis and is concentrated at this point <br />10. Uhland Rd. near Sherriff's office (1100 blk Uhland) <br />a. No infrastructure. Flat. Road has to be closed during larger rain events <br />11. Post Rd. @ lift station (near Champions Blvd.) <br />a. Ditch from Yarrington Rd. southwest to City limits does not drain well. Lift <br />station floods. <br />12. All of downtown <br />a. Hutchison St. improvements will help <br />13. Children's Park Road (200 blk CM Allen) <br />a. Low water crossing <br />14. S. LBJ @ Purgatory Creek (300 blk S. LBJ) <br />a. Possible bridge /culvert upgrade <br />
