Taxes collected shall be remitted to the City on
the next day after they are processed and credited by the County Tax Office but no
later than when the taxes collected for the County have been remitted to the County
Treasurer. In any event, any remaining funds due the City will be paid to the City
monthly.
E. This cost shall be the actual cost of
providing those extra services required by the roll-back or change in the tax rate and
such cost shall be withheld in a similar manner as hereinabove set out.
F. MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS
(1) The City agrees to transfer to the possession and control of the County, without
charge, copIes of all records necessary for the performance of the duties and
responsibilities of the County pursuant to this Agreement. Any expense for the
initial conversion of data shall be paid by the City.
(2) The County shall not be liable to the City for any failure to collect taxes nor
shall the County Tax Assessor-Collector by liable unless the failure to collect taxes results
from some failure on her part to perform the duties imposed upon her by law and by
this Agreement.
