Cleanouts in sanitary drains shall have <br /> heavy brass plugs screwed into cleanout ferrules. All cleanouts <br /> shall be the same size as the pipe served. <br /> Cleanouts in finished floors shall be concealed by Zurn Z-1326 with <br /> dura-coated cast iron body and polished Zurn nickel-bronze access <br /> cover and frame with vandal-proof screws. <br /> (5) Water Piping System: <br /> (a) Install a complete system of water piping as <br /> indicated on the plans to serve all water requirements. <br /> (b) All interior cold water piping 1" size and <br /> smaller below the floor slab on grade shall be 'l'ype L soft annealed <br /> copper tubing. It shall be installed continuous without joints and <br /> shall be installed. without sharp bends or kinks. Suitable <br /> protection shall be afforded to prevent deformation during concrete <br /> pouring operations. <br /> (c) All interior cold water piping 1-1/4" size and <br /> larger below the floor slab on grade shall be Type L hard drawn <br /> copper tubing with wrought copper solder joint fittings. Solder <br /> shall be "sil-foe~. <br /> (d) All interior water piping above the floor <br /> slab-on-grade shall be Type L hard drawn copper tubing made up with <br /> wrought copper solder joint fittings. <br /> (el All piping shall be run exposed on pipe chase <br /> wall concealed, in walls or above furred ceilings wherevel! possible <br /> and shall be run in a neat and workmanlike manner. Piping shall be <br /> graded to allow complete drainage of the systems. <br /> (f) All piping passing through concrete floor slab <br /> shall be protected with vinyl tape at contact points. <br /> (g) All fittings shall be manufactured in accordance <br /> with ANSI. <br /> 11-20 <br />
