<br /> :"71 <br /> RAMON LUCIO, RIO VISTA, RIO VISTA ANNEX, AND BICENTENNIAL <br /> PARKS RECREATION DEVELOPMENT <br /> TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION 11 <br /> RESTROOM BUILDINGS <br /> (10) Flashing: <br /> (a) Flash around all pipes passing through the roof <br /> in connection with this contract, with sheet lead weighing not less <br /> than 4 lbs. per square foot, built a minimum. of 10" in all <br /> directions from the outside of the pipe into the water proofing. <br /> Flashing shall be run up the pipe and turned over into the pipe <br /> cavity with not less than 2" turndown. <br /> (11) Valves: <br /> (a) Install all valves and cocks indicated on the <br /> plans, specified herein, or required to control the flow of water <br /> to the various parts of the systems, etc. Generally valves shall <br /> be of types and patterns corresponding to the following listings: <br /> Gate Valves Crane 1428 or 11320 <br /> Globe Valves Crane 17 or 11310 <br /> Angle Valves Crane 17 or 11311 <br /> (b) Where valves have discs, they shall be selected for <br /> the intended service using those materials recommended by the <br /> manufacturer. <br /> (12) Drains: <br /> (a) Drains shall be of the sizes indicated and shall <br /> conform to the following Western Foundry listing. Equal products <br /> of Josam and Wade will be acceptable. <br /> (b) Floor Drain, FO: Josam No. 30803-7A or Western <br /> Foundry Type 0-200-6 with duracoated cast iron body, flashing clamp <br /> and Type "B" flat square strainer with vandal-proof screws <br /> (Strainer NO. 0-253-8). <br /> (c) Each floor drain shall be provided with a deep <br /> seal cast iron p-trap. <br /> 11-23 <br />
