89 RAMON, LUCIO, RIO VISTA, RIO VISTA ANNEX, AND BICENTENNIAL PARKS RECREATION DEVELOPMENT TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS lB SITE PREPARATION 1B-OS CLEANUP: a. Structures in the work area shall be disposed of as indicated on the plans; however, any structures not shown, e.g., old building foundations, slabs, macadam roads, wire fences, wells, rocks larger in diameter than 3 inches, etc., shall be removed. 1B-06 EQUIPMENT: a. Equipment necessary for the efficient and expeditious accomplishment of the required work shall be on hand in good condition before the work is started. 1B-07 MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT: a. LAYOUT acceptably completed as provided above will be paid for at the contract lump sum price per complete bid for LAYOUT, which price shall be full compensation for all layout and for all equipment, tools, labor, and incidentals necessary to complete the work. b. Partial payments of the "Lump Sum" bid for LAYOUT shall be made as the work proceeds, after presentation of invoices by the Contractor showing his surveying costs and evidence of the charges of suppliers and of subcontractors for the survey work performed by them. If the total of such payments is less than the contract "Lump Sum" bid for LAYOUT, the unpaid balance will be included in the final contract payment. Total payment will. be the "Lump Sum" bid for LAYOUT, regardless of actual cost to the Contractor. Partial payment will not be made under this item for the purchase cost of materials and equipment having a residual value. c. SITE PREPARATION acceptably completed as provided above will be paid for at the contract lump sum price bid for SITE PREPARATION, which price shall be full compensation for all equipment, tools, labor, and incidentals necessary to complete the work. 1B-5
