<br /> 143 <br /> RAMON LUCIO, RIO VISTA, RIO VISTA ANNEX, AND BICENTENNIAL <br /> PARKS RECREATION DEVELOPMENT <br /> TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION 10 <br /> EXTERIOR ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS <br /> 10-01 GENERAL: <br /> a. All work under this specification is subject to the <br /> applicable provisions of the National Electrical Code, the City of <br /> San Marcos Building Code (1985 Standard Building Code with local <br /> amendments) all requirements made by the City of San Marcos <br /> Electrical Utility (purveyors of electrical power) to supply <br /> electrical power to the project. The Contractor shall become <br /> familiar with all the applicable provisions and shall be <br /> responsible for and be governed by all requirements thereunder. <br /> 10-02 SCOPE: <br /> a. The work consists of providing a complete system of <br /> electrical power for the various buildings (restroom building at <br /> Rio Vista Annex Park and group shelter at Ramon Lucio Park). The <br /> Contractor shall be responsible for the coordination required to <br /> bring underground power (as shown on the drawings) from existing <br /> sources to the various panels for each building. The Contractor <br /> shall coordinate the primary electrical power that may be required <br /> for this project with the City of San Marcos Electrical Utility. <br /> b. Provide all weatherheads, drops, necessary metering <br /> devices, cabinets, wires, and conduits necessary to provide a <br /> usable source of power to the various improvements in this project <br /> requiring electrical power. <br /> c. Provide all panels, boxes, switches, connections, conduit, <br /> traffic type underground junction boxes, etc. all as required for <br /> a complete and usable underground exterior electrical power system <br /> as shown on the drawings. <br /> d. The Contractor shall include in his bid prices, the <br /> payment of all necessary permits. The Contractor shall furnish the <br /> Owner, prior to final payment, a certificate or other proof from <br /> the City of San Marcos Building Inspection Department that <br /> certifies that all the electrical work meets all requirements of <br /> the National Electrical Code, the City of San Marcos Building Code, <br /> and all other codes having jurisdiction on the project. <br /> 10-1 <br />
