<br /> 145 <br /> RAMON LUCIO, RIO VISTA, RIO VISTA ANNEX, AND BICENTENNIAL <br /> PARKS RECREATION DEVELOPMENT <br /> TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION 10 <br /> EXTERIOR ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS <br /> g. All circuit panelboards shall be as scheduled on the <br /> drawings, Square liD" Company or approved equal. All panels shall <br /> be furnished in NEHA 3R enclosures, with concealed door hinges and <br /> flushlocks. <br /> h. Underground junction boxes, shall be traffic type cast <br /> iron equal to Neenah Foundry MOdel R-6704 or precast reinforced <br /> concrete with cast iron frame and cover. Cover shall have the word <br /> ELECTRIC cast in it. <br /> i. All hardware shall be zinc-coated, EEI Spec. TD-1 through <br /> TD-24 inclusive, except 8,13, 18, 19, and 20. Steel <br /> hardware material shall be ASTK Standard Al07. <br /> j . Service to all equipment and fixtures shall be underground <br /> electric service at 120/240 volts, single phase 4 wire (unless <br /> specifically grounded at each panel point). The Contractor shall <br /> provide all necessary excavation and backfill and he/she shall pay <br /> any incidental expense which may occur. All electrical lines in <br /> U.L. Approved PVC conduit at trench grade will be buried at a <br /> minimum depth not less than twenty four inches (24"). <br /> k. Grounding: All equipment, enclosures, raceways, and system <br /> neutral shall be securely and permanently grounded in accordance <br /> with Article 250 of the National Electrical Code. <br /> 1. Main Panels shall be. installed where shown on the drawings <br /> in conjunction with the electric utility company if required. All <br /> electrical hardware shall be installed in a water proof metal panel <br /> box with a key lock assembly, and the complete panel installation <br /> shall be vandal resistant. <br /> m. Meter housing shall be installed by the Contractor in <br /> conjunction with the electrical utility company. The mete.r housing <br /> shall be located where shown on plan. The housing shall be NEHA 3R <br /> waterproof as approved or provided by the electrical utility <br /> company. <br /> 10-04 INSTALLATION: <br /> a. General: All items shall be installed per manufacturer's <br /> requirements and recommendations and as indicated on the drawings. <br /> 10-3 <br /> ~- <br />
