<br /> ITRON ENCORE SYSTEM <br /> WARRANTY/SERVICE POLICY <br /> Warranty Period: Warranty period on all Itron provided hardware <br /> and software is ninety (90) days from date of installation. <br /> During the warranty period Itron will ensure that each component <br /> of the system will be free from defects in material and <br /> workmanship in accordance with the terms and conditions of the <br /> Total System Support Agreement. <br /> Warranty Repair and Maintenance Hardware: Warranty repair will <br /> be provided by Itron at its own expense at its Service Center <br /> locations in accordance with the service policies stated herein. <br /> Software maintenance will originate at Spokane, Washington. <br /> During the warranty period Itron will take all action possible to <br /> ensure hardware operation, including, if necessary, spare <br /> equipment and on-site repair at no cost. <br /> Service period: Service period will commence upon expiration of <br /> the warranty period and will remain in effect in accordance with <br /> the terms and conditions of the Maintenance Contract. <br /> System Maintenance: Hardware maintenance will be provided by <br /> Itron at its Service Center locations in accordance with the <br /> service policies stated herein. Software maintenance will <br /> originate at Spokane, washington. <br /> Hot Line Support: Network Computing Corporation provides twenty- <br /> four hour per day, seven days a week, access to hardware and <br /> software services. Non-standard Customer Support hours (6:00 <br /> p.m. - 8:00 a.m., Saturday and Sunday) are limited to critical <br /> system inoperable problem resolution. <br /> Service policies - Hardware: <br /> 1.1 Depot Repair <br /> 1.1.0 All Itron hardware repairs occur at an Itron <br /> Depot Service Center. Specifics regarding <br /> maintenance schedules are included in <br /> Attachment A. <br /> 1.1.1 Itron Depot Service Center hours of operation <br /> are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. :to 5:00 <br /> p.m. excluding holidays. These times reflect <br /> the time zone in which the center resides. <br /> 1.1.2 Itron will provide shipping containers for <br /> Depot Service Center maintenance repairs at <br /> no additional cost. <br /> 7 <br />
