<br /> 1.1.3 Shipping charges to an Itron Depot Service <br /> Center will be born by the Customer and <br /> return shipment (comparable shipping method) <br /> will be born by Itron. <br /> 1.1.4 Itron reserves the right to charge for parts, <br /> labor, freight and expenses incurred in the <br /> maintenance of equipment which was the result <br /> of an accident, transportation, neglect or <br /> abuse (see Attachment B). <br /> 1.2 On-Site Repairs <br /> 1. 2.0 On-site problem resolution is available on a <br /> time and material basis including expenses <br /> for Customer requested assistance. This will <br /> be made available as schedules permit. (See <br /> attachment B). <br /> 1.2.1 On-site problem resolution will be made <br /> available at no cost if Itron deems necessary <br /> to effectively resolve Itron hardware <br /> problems. <br /> 1.2.2 As schedules permit, Itron will provide <br /> Customer requested on-site data <br /> communications problem resolution on a time <br /> and material basis including expenses (See <br /> Attachment B). <br /> 1.2.3 Itron reserves the right to charge for parts, <br /> labor, freight, and expenses incurred in the <br /> course of on-site problem resolution as a <br /> result of accident, transportation, neglect <br /> or abuse (see attachment B). <br /> 1.3 Data Management Center (DMC)jDataCap Management Unit (DCMU) <br /> 1.3.0 Malfunctions of a DMCjDCMU will be confirmed <br /> via phone with the Itron Depot Service <br /> Center. <br /> 1. 3.1 Should the determination be made that the <br /> DMCjDCMU is malfunctioning and needs repair <br /> service, Itron will supply on site a spare <br /> DMCjDCMU electronics bay to the Customer <br /> within 24 hours for replacement by authorizea <br /> personnel. <br /> 1. 3.2 The Customer will then forward the <br /> malfunctioning electronics bay to an Itron <br /> Depot Service Center for Repair. Upon <br /> completion of repair, the electronics bay <br /> will be returned to the Customer for re- <br /> installation. <br /> 8 <br />
