10 PERFORl1ANCE MEASURE: The Project Coordinator will keep track of presentations made and the number of attendees, These statistics will be reported on our semi-annual evaluation report to the State Library. OBJECTIVE C-2: To produce and distribute a bilingual (English-Spanish) flier to advertise our Job Information Center, This wi 11 be accomplished by December 1989. PERFORMANCE MEASURE: The Project Coordinator will complete the flier and submit two copies to TSL along with our semi-annual evaluation report. The number of fliers distributed will be also be included in the report. OBJECTIVE C-3: To publicize the services of the Lifelong Learning Project and Job Information Center through door- to-door canvassing of at least four neighborhoods which have large ESL populations, PERFORMANCE MEASURE: The Project Coordinator will keep track of the number of neighborhoods, residences and small businesses contacted through the canvassing process, These statistics will be reported on our semi-annual evaluation report. V, SERVICES TO BE PROVIDED The Lifelong Learning Project will provide the following serVlces: A, Free literacy, ESL and GED tutoring for adults, Our project currently provides these three types of tutoring. Much of the ESL and GED tutoring takes place during walk-in hours. Walk-in hours will be expanded from 20 to 25 hours a week under the new grant, Literacy students who need one-on-one instruction will continue to meet with their tutors at mutually convenient times, Individualized instruction will also be available to beginning ESL students and GED students who cannot come during our walk-in hours, Due to a lack of staffing we currently do very limited assessment and tracking of student needs. Under the new grant the Project Coordinator will have more time for this important service, He will assess needs and abilities of students, assist in setting short and long term goals, and provide referrals to students when appropriate,
