NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE EDWARDS UNDERGROUND WATER DISTRICT SECTION 1. That the General Manager is authorized to execute an Interlocal Cooperation Agreement among the Edwards Underground Water District, City of San Antonio and other participating governmental entities of the Edwards Aquifer region to establish a cooperative administrative agency/ as provided in the Texas Interlocal Cooperation Act, foe the purposes of promoting the passage of legislation and the undertaking of other water planning activities generally consistent with the Regional Water Resources Plan. The Agreement shall be in substantially the same form and content as that attached hereto and incorporated herein as Exhibit A. SECTION 2. The amount of $62,500 is appropriated from the general funds of the District to be contributed to the administrative agency as the initial f inanc ial contribution of the District to be used for payment of agency expenses. The General Manager is authorized to transfer funds in such amount upon the establishment of the bank account for holding such contributions of participants for disbursement in accordance with the Agreement. SECTION 3. The General Manager or a person designated by the General Manager is authorized and directed to serve as the District's representative on the Administration Committee established in Section 2.2 of the Agreement, to participate in the meetings and activities of such Administration Committee, and to report the activities and expenditures of such agency to the District at least quarterly.
