<br /> -2- <br /> 1. Occupational exploration building <br /> 2. Recreation building <br /> 3. Building maintenance/masonry shop <br /> 4. Heavy equipment repair/operator building <br /> 5. Driver training facility. <br />The design of said buildings has been in accordance with standards <br />contained in the Job Corps Handbook 814 and local building code <br />requirements that are not in conflict therewith. <br />The City has submitted the construction rlocuments to the Department of <br />Labor at 15%, 50% and 90% completion for approval. The DOL engineers <br />have reviewed the construction documents and submitted their responses <br />to the City's architect. The final Project plans and specifications in <br />their entirety are incorporated by reference into this Agreemen t. <br /> II. <br /> BIDDING PHASE <br /> The City will be responsible for the entire bid process, including <br />preparation of construction and bid documents, the advertising of the <br />project bids, the pre-bid conference, the bid opening, tabulation of <br />bids and the selection of the contractor. <br /> The City will be the entity entering into the contract with the <br />successful general contractor, and will have sole responsibility for <br />any changes to the contract. The DOL must review and approve any <br />changes in the contract that modify the quality of materials, <br />durability of materials or square footage of the buildin<]s and has <br />five ( 5) days to do this review after notification of the proposed <br />contract change order. <br /> The City will ensure that property and liability insurance is <br />carried in the amounts specified in the Project plans on the project <br />until such time as transfer is made to DOL. A Certificate of Insurance <br />will be provided to DOL. <br /> I I I. <br /> CONSTRUCTION <br /> The City and its architect will have sole responsibility to ensure <br />
