<br /> Massive clean-up of the San Marcos River to take place <br /> while students are in school and before the tourist <br /> season begins. <br /> The University will be responsible for preparation of a <br /> written assessment and evaluation of this phase based upon the <br /> following factors: <br /> ( 1) Volume of litter and vegetation removed <br /> (2) Number of community and uni vers i ty service groups <br /> participation in massive clean-up effort <br /> (3) Baseline measurement of sedimentation at specific <br /> sites <br /> ( 4) Natural scouring of river bottom by vegetation <br /> removal <br /> The University shall provide a copy of this assessment and <br /> evaluation to the Director of the City Parks and Recreation <br /> Department. <br /> (b) PHASE II: June 1990 - September 1991. <br /> <br /> A maintenance program will be implemented including <br /> initiation of graduate level courses and continued <br /> clean-up. <br /> The University will be responsible for preparation of a <br /> written assessment and evaluation of this phase based upon the <br /> following factors: <br /> 1. Establishment of coordinated clean-up effort <br /> 2. Volume of litter and vegetation removed <br /> 3. Evaluation of baseline data collected in Phase I <br /> and Phase II <br /> -2 <br />
