Arrange for samplings to be made during the normal operation <br /> of each facility and an analytical plan will be derived which <br /> will adequately cover the potential pollutants which would be <br /> in their discharge. The Consultant will take a time and/or <br /> flow composite of each facility in accordance with the <br /> Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and City of San Marcos <br /> regulations. The Consultant will deliver properly preserved <br /> samples maintaining Chain of Custody to a laboratory <br /> designated by the City. <br /> E. Submit an inspection and evaluation report to the City. <br /> Cost=$12,000.00 ($1,500.00 per Industrial Waste Generator x 8 <br /> n';¡G' s) <br /> PERIODIC MAINTENANCE PROGRAM <br /> The Consultant will: <br /> F. Update information obtained in the Basic Setup Program. <br /> G. Conduct semiannual sampling and analysis of key parameters. <br /> H. Complete inspection reports for facilities covered under the <br /> Industrial Waste Ordinance. <br /> Cost= $3,000.00 ($300.00 per semiannual period x 10 IWG's) <br /> EHERGENCY SAMPLING <br /> The Consultant will: <br /> I. Perform a sampling at the direction of the City at any <br /> suspected problem industrial wastewater generator when the <br /> monitoring of a Publicly Owned Treatment Works (POTW) <br /> indicates a possible problem. <br /> J. Prepare appropriate inspection reports. <br /> COST = $800.00 ($400.00 per event x 2 events) <br /> NEW INDUSTRIAL WASTEWATER GENERATOR EVALUATION <br /> The Consultant will: <br /> K. Evaluate the industrial/manufacturing processes of the <br /> industrial prospect in te rms of wastewater and waste <br /> management. The Consultant will address the necessity of a <br /> pretreatment system. <br />
